President Joe Biden will attend a special caucus meeting with Senate Democrats on Thursday, as the party makes a concerted effort to pass elections reform and voting legislation.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has vowed that the chamber will vote by Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, on proposed rules changes that might make it easier to pass the bill. But at the moment, Democrats don’t have the 50 votes necessary to change those rules.
