Manhattan condo and co-op prices approached record highs last year and saw their greatest number of sales in more than three decades, according to a new report from Douglas Elliman.
The 2021 median sales price for Manhattan condos and co-ops was about $1.1 million, a 7.1% increase compared with 2020 and a 34.7% increase compared with 2012, when it was $835,000, the report says. There were 13,957 sales last year, almost double the 7,048 sales from 2020 and significantly higher than the 10,508 sales in 2012 as well.
