The 2021-22 Broadway season has been in full swing since August, but after a lull over the holidays — and the cancellation of performances due to the omicron variant of COVID-19 – things are really heating up this spring. Over the next two-plus months, Broadway will see 19 shows open or reopen, as we lead up to the 75th Tony Awards, which will be handed out at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 12.
Tickets are already on sale for most shows. The Broadway League is still requiring audience members to be vaccinated and wear masks inside all theaters until at least April 30, but it is reassessing protocols
