Annual Macy's flower show begins

One of the city’s most colorful spring traditions is officially underway. 

The Macy’s Flower Show is now open to the public at the flagship store in Herald Square.

“We have over 15,000 live plants here at Macy’s Herald Square, throughout the entirety of our show. Each night we work tirelessly to water, replenish, refurbish,” said executive producer of the Macy’s Flower Show Will Coss.

The Macy’s Flower Show will go on for two weeks. On opening day, a large crowd made it’s way into the store when doors opened at 11 a.m.
