A man was shot and killed in a Bronx apartment after answering a knock at the door on Monday night, police and sources said.
The 43-year-old victim was struck in his torso by a gunman who knocked at the door of the residence on Irwin Avenue near West 234th Street in Kingsbridge just before 6 p.m., the NYPD and sources said.

The victim was taken by EMS to Harlem Hospital where he was pronounced dead, cops said. His identity was being withheld late Monday pending family
