While Navidad in Puerto Rico is a whole season, stretching about 45 days from around Thanksgiving to mid-January with the celebration of the Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián, I want to enjoy one of my favorite seasonal cocktails, Coquito, as often as I can.
The name translates to “little coconut,” and many families have their own variation, but the running theme is coconut, a healthy pour of rum and a generous amount of cinnamon.
