“White Girl in Danger,” which began previews off-Broadway March 15 at Second Stage’s Tony Kiser Theater, is a co-production between Vineyard Theatre and Second Stage Theater.
The musical will officially open April 10, with the limited engagement running for eight weeks through May 21.
Tony Award-nominee Lileana Blain-Cruz from “The Skin of Our Teeth” directs the musical, along with Raja Feather Kelly from “A Strange Loop” choreographing.
Described as a “fever dream mashup of classic daytime and prime-time soap operas, Lifetime movies, and red-hot melodrama,” the musical follows the citizens of Allwhite — a town filled with drama and intrigue worthy of a daytime soap opera.
