This just in: Peter Do is exiting Helmut Lang. The designer shared the news in a press statement on Tuesday, marking a surprise departure—particularly as he’s only been the brand’s creative director for just under two years.
“I want to express my gratitude to mu Helmut Lang team, who have been integral in supporting my vision,” Do said. “It’s been an incredible journey to be tasked to carry on the legacy of Helmut Lang. I would like to give special thanks to Kazumi [Yanai] for this opportunity of a lifetime and experience that I will never forget.”
