SCI-Arc partners with leading LiDar scanning technology company, Leica Geosystems, for equipment and scholarship support

Leica Geosystems, a leader in LiDAR scanning technology, recently announced a new partnership with SCI-Arc to “help train the architects of tomorrow,” the global company said. The Hexagon subsidiary committed to supporting SCI-Arc with hardware and software donations as well as scholarships.

SCI-Arc will receive more than $200,000 in technology donations, including user-friendly LiDAR scanners for capturing photorealist 3D scans of areas, structures, and objects. A postgraduate program at SCI-Arc, EDGE, will also get a considerate amount of money in scholarships.
