A 79-year-old man was killed  in a Queens police shooting outside a precinct on Tuesday night after he allegedly walked up to the NYPD stationhouse while brandishing a gun.

According to NYPD Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera, a 79-year-old man left his vehicle and approached the 111th Precinct headquarters at 45-06 215th St. in Bayside at around 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 18 and began talking to officers. During the conversation, he pointed a firearm
