When English outfits Disclosure and Rudimental met in the middle from polar ends of the dance music spectrum to headline and curate the inaugural edition of Wildlife Festival last year, nobody quite knew what to expect – but by and large, the event made for a resounding success. Now that the season for festival announcements is upon us, the festival’s organizers have confirmed its spirited return by releasing its 2016 lineup.
Just as with last year, the most notable quality of Wildlife Festival (a brand presumably inspired by Disclosure’s stage show concept of the same name) is that the lineup features a heaping helping of hip-hop names in addition to the electronic music artists that are to be expected. While the 2016 edition will see the return of staples like Annie Mac, Julio Bashmore and Andy C, musicians such as Ice Cube, Carl Cox and Busta Rhymes will play the festival for the first time.
