Melissa McCarthy’s new film, “Superintelligence,” is a comedy that has Artificial Intelligence threatening to destroy the earth unless Carol (McCarthy), the average woman, can prove it’s worth saving.
As the ’Superintelligence’ gets to know Carol, it encourages her to find “the one that got away,” played by New Yorker, Bobby Cannavale. He says it was a new playing the love interest. “When I read the script, I thought, Oh, wow. And nobody ever asks me to be like, the romantic interest ever. I’m always like, you know, killing the romantic interest.”
