Sturt Reserve Master Plan reimagines Murray Bridge riverfront

A transformation for South Australia’s Rural City of Murray Bridge riverfront is on the way, as the Sturt Reserve Master Plan Design Development by ASPECT Studios prepared in collaboration with TERROIR and Mulloway Studio has been adopted.

The plan reimagines the Council’s premier open space and will significantly enhance visitors’ experiences. Located on Ngarrindjeri Country, the plan will reinforce the destination as a tourist and recreational hub that celebrates the area’s rich cultural heritage.

Reconnecting Sturt Reserve to the town centre, the river and destinations beyond was essential – all whilst prioritising pedestrian and cyclist movement, developing intuitive wayfinding and identifying opportunities for innovative interpretation.
