TANG QIAN Neighbourhoods is located in Shenyang, China, adjacent to the ecological area of Huishan reservoir. The special geographical location and good regional atmosphere demand a thoughtful approach to the project. The designers integrated elements of Song Dynasty aesthetics into contemporary space art by combining the garden lifestyle of Song Dynasty with the residential culture of Shenyang’s folk courtyard.
The design methods of architecture, landscape, and interior were unified to excavate the Zen meaning in the traditional residential culture, fully expressing the spiritual pursuit of a better life that was valued by ancient literati.
