Andy Cohen shares the parenting moment that made him cry: ‘He was the only child who couldn't play'

Andy Cohen became emotional while recounting a story about a time he felt like he had failed his 4-year-old son, Ben. 

“Ben goes to a progressive nursery school in New York City. I’m the only single parent and I’m the only gay dad,” Cohen, 55, revealed during a conversation with NPR in May. It’s an experience the Bravo host once described as “surprisingly lonely.”

During his chat with NPR, Cohen illustrated what he meant by lonely, when he recalled a birthday party Ben attended at a playground.
