Frank DiLella's theater picks: 'Jaja's African Hair Braiding,' 'Infinite Life' and more

With the many entertainment choices New York City has to offer, it can be difficult to make a choice. Look no further. “On Stage” host Frank DiLella has curated a list of “must-see” shows this week, directing you to the best of Broadway, off-Broadway and beyond.

“Jaja’s African Hair Braiding”

The world premiere of “Jaja’s African Hair Braiding” has set up shop at The Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on Broadway.

Dreams flourish and secrets are revealed in this new work by the playwright Jocelyn Bioh, which centers around a lively community in Harlem.  

Previews begin Tuesday, Sept. 12. The opening is set for Oct. 3.
