When I attend TEFAF Maastricht I’m often asked what is the best jewels I’ve seen. What really grabbed my attention. These are difficult questions to answer when speaking of contemporary high jewelry artists who exhibit at this fair because I’ve known most of these people and businesses well enough over the years that I have a good overall expectation of what I will see.
Brand is a word I don’t normally like to use when discussing the work of artists but there is a consistency in style what they produce and it’s the reason there are people willing to make a commitment to invest in their jewels.
