Not to be confused with the Class II British touring car race series of the 1990s, Aston Martin is describing its new DB12 as a ‘super tourer’.
Replacing the aging DB11, which arrived all the way back in 2016, the new DB12 looks familiar on the outside but is all-new on the inside, including a much-needed revamp of Aston’s outdated infotainment system.
The car is available only as a twin-turbocharged V8, doing away with its predecessor’s V12 but retaining flagship performance figures of 670 horsepower, 590 ft-lbs of torque, a claimed 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph.
