A shakeup in the AP Top 25 and specifically the top 10 this week after Texas topped Alabama 34-24 last week as a 7-point underdog. The Longhorns move up to No. 4 and the Crimson Tide fell to No. 10 following last week’s results with those two teams nearly swapping spots from the Week 2 AP Poll.
Texas is ranked in the top 5 for the first time since 2010. The Longhorns also moved up sharply in the national championship odds, just as Florida State did in Week 1 following their blowout win over LSU. Texas and Florida State are currently +1000 (10/1) to win the national
