The FedEx Cup Playoffs begin Thursday in Memphis, and the stakes are high. Beyond the continued competition of LIV Golf, the PGA Tour has unleased its own Taylor Made purse with a $15 million prize pool at this week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship.
The 125 player event at TPC Southwind in Memphis will be cut down to the top 70 points leaders in the FedEx Cup Standings after Sunday’s final round on the 7,243 yard par 70 course. The points standings will be updated and moving throughout the tournament, and the 70 remaining players will move on to next week’s BMW Championship in Wilmington, Delaware.
