These are good days for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who release their twelfth album, Unlimited Love, today. The excellent 17-song collection, their first since 2016, finds the band reuniting with longtime guitarist John Frusciante who rejoined the group in 2019 after a decade away.
Yesterday, the band celebrated the new record by entering Hollywood history with their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As bassist Flea told me, when I spoke with him last week, it is an incredible honor for a kid who grew up in Hollywood.
