Following a big Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas, tens of thousands of additional visitors will make their way to Las Vegas for the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP). The poker action gets started this week for a 54th WSOP and seven-week run of 95 gold bracelet events. This year also marks the 20-year anniversary of Chris Moneymaker’s most unlikely bracelet victory in the 2003 WSOP Main Event.
Records are set to be broken again, including an estimated turnout of more than 8,800 for the Main Event starting July 3.
