Hulu and FX are officially releasing a follow-up to their groundbreaking Framing Britney Spears documentary that aired earlier this year, which shed light on the misogynistic treatment the pop star endured in the media throughout her career.
The new documentary, titled Controlling Britney Spears, is set to air Friday night (Sept. 24) on FX and Hulu, and features new allegations from insiders about Spears’ daily life under her longtime conservatorship. The new Britney Spears Hulu documentary is directed by Samantha Stark and produced by Liz Day along with the New York Times.
