Public Enemy and Ice-T have been tapped to headline The National Celebration of Hip-Hop in Washington, D.C. The event will take place Oct. 6-7 at West Potomac Park on the National Mal. Admission to the event is free with registration, which opens today.
DJ Hurricane will host a Beastie Boys tribute set with special guests, drawing on his years of experience working with the beloved New York rap trio. Kurtis Blow, Kid ‘n Play, CL Smooth, Melle Mel and Scorpio, and the Sugarhill Gang are among the hip-hop legends also performing.
