Florida cops fatally shot a man who attacked them with a pair of scissors inside a hospital, authorities said.
The 29-year-old man had been brought to Cleveland Indian Clinic in Vero Beach on Friday by relatives after he tried to hang himself, news station WPTV reported.
Indian River County Sheriff Eric Flowers said the man began running through the hospital with a pair of “large scissors” Saturday night while four deputies happened to be nearby.
As they gave chase, the man raised the scissors above his head, police said.
