It can be tough to keep track of all the new developments coming to Gowanus these days.
Plans for large new projects have been streaming into the Brooklyn neighborhood for more than a year, and the pace has picked up notably since the fall, when it started to become clearer that the long-awaited rezoning for the neighborhood would likely pass and bring several opportunities for real estate projects with it.
The City Council ultimately did pass the rezoning in November, and the city has estimated it will bring roughly 8,000 new housing units to Gowanus, more than 3,000 of which will be affordable. Developers are so far
