One of the city’s most prominent developers is planning a major mixed-use project in East Williamsburg.
Hudson Cos. recently filed plans with the Department of Buildings for a development spanning about 300,000 square feet, with 311 apartments, at 89 Maspeth Ave. The project, a redevelopment of Greenpoint Hospital dubbed Cooper Park Commons, will stand 18 stories and 135 feet tall, and it will include commercial space and room for a community facility in addition to the residential space, the developer said.
