An appellate court is not buying Ziel Feldman’s argument that his former partner, Nir Meir, was solely to blame for HFZ’s financial woes and has granted a summary judgment for more than $18 million to one of the embattled real estate executive’s lenders.
Lender YH Lex Estates sued HFZ, Feldman and Meir in state Supreme Court in Manhattan in November 2020, claiming the defendants owed the firm about $18.1 million plus interest for a loan YH made on an HFZ luxury condo project on the Upper East Side.
