Move-ins have officially launched for part of the South Bronx megaproject from Brookfield Properties that has the potential to supercharge changes in the borough that have been frequently predicted but never fully materialized.
Brookfield on Thursday announced the grand opening of Third at Bankside, the name of the initial batch of towers in its massive $950 million, 4.3-acre development along the Mott Haven waterfront. Third at Bankside, based at 2401 Third Ave., features three buildings ranging from 17 to 25 stories tall and 458 residential units, including 134 affordable ones. Amenities include a pool deck and a fitness center.
