No sign that new vulnerability compromised U.S. agencies or infrastructure, CISA says

The government’s cyber defenders currently have no indication that hackers have breached any federal agency using a recently disclosed vulnerability in Apache logging software, a Biden administration official said Tuesday.

“Across the federal government, we have no known reports of compromises using this vulnerability,” Eric Goldstein, the executive assistant director in charge of CISA’s cybersecurity division, told reporters during a briefing about the expanding crisis around a flaw in Apache’s Log4j code library.
