The price of everything is going up — even the city budget!
Mayor Adams and the City Council will make a “handshake” deal on a record-breaking city budget at $101 billion, up from the proposed $99.7 billion package Adams rolled out in April and blowing past the $98.7 billion budget deal his predecessor Bill de Blasio struck with lawmakers last year.
Sources familiar with the deal told The Post that the NYPD budget is going to remain relatively flat at $5.6 billion total.
But Adams and the Council agreed to create new “units of appropriation” to figure out where the money is going, add efficiencies
