Last week, the Democrats who control the New York State Assembly and Senate released their legislative lines for the next decade, completing a fraught and secretive redistricting process.
The outcome was not surprising but still notable enough to make national news: The Democrats had engineered new districts to potentially boost their House delegation in New York by at least three members.
