Eight months after buying two prominent properties in Chicago’s Fulton Market District, Vista Property Group is raising its bet that the neighborhood is poised for a post-Covid boom.
The New York–based real estate developer paid nearly $26 million this week for a pair of properties on adjacent blocks at 370 N. Morgan St. and 413 N. Carpenter St., Vista principal Hymie Mishan confirmed. Vista bought the Morgan Street property from longtime food wholesaler Fox De Luxe Foods, which operated out of a 14,000-square-foot facility on the site less than a block north of Google’s Midwest headquarters.
