A New York City food kiosk known for its authentic Belgian waffles and the sweet scents that engulf them has launched a nationwide expansion plan.
Wafels & Dinges has enlisted DCV Franchise Group of California to grow the concept around the country, now that its co-founders, married couple Thomas DeGeest and Rossanna Figuera, have proven the concept in New York, Denver and Minneapolis.
“I know every corner” of New York, DeGeest said. “That’s not something we know in Nashville or Dallas.”
Currently Wafels has four New York City kiosks including one at Bryant Park, plus two food trucks that often are hired by the movie industry. There
