Bali is practically synonymous with luxury hotels. And the luxury comes in all varieties, from boutique to barefoot.
The Indonesian province is called the Island of a Thousand Temples. But it’s probably more accurate to say it is the Island of a Thousand Luxury Hotels.
Almost every property in Bali claims to have some kind of luxury element, and considering the fact that “sustainable luxury” can mean almost anything (and who knows what “barefoot luxury” is?) it can get really confusing to the average visitor.
