Lou Medina grew up in the UNESCO world heritage city Cordoba in Spain, where she learned to appreciate heritage and craft. A graduate of the Istituto Europeo di Design, Lou started her design career as an apprentice at Alexander McQueen, and then went on to work for Phoebe Philo at Celine. Lou founded Medina with a clear mission to create luxurious modern swimwear for the conscious shopper.
