As its tourism numbers climb closer to pre-pandemic levels, Thailand will have a new entry fee for international arrivals beginning June 1, 2023.
Cost of the new entry fee is low
As first reported by the Bangkok Post, the new entry fee will be 300 Thai Baht for travelers arriving in Thailand by air. For those arriving overland or by sea, the fee is half that at 150 Baht.
With current exchange rates, the fee will barely be noticed by most U.S. travelers—300 Baht is about $8.75 U.S. and 150 Baht is $4.35 U.S. The fee will be included in the cost of plane tickets, so air
