Catskills Summer Nights Return With Two Free Music Series

Free live music will once again fill the serene Catskills waterfront this season with two summer concert series. Beginning June 18, Music in the Park will return to Dutchman’s Landing on Thursday nights. Meanwhile, the Athens Summer Concert Series will take the stage at Athens Riverfront Park on Friday nights July 17, featuring blues, rock, roots, jam bands and tribute acts.

Music in the Park opens June 18 with a weekly lineup of rain-or-shine performances. Presented by the Heart of Catskill Association, the series begins with Guilty Pleasure, a high-energy cover band known for its something-for-everyone setlists. After that, additional sets from The Lustre Kings, In The Dust, Laura Leigh Band and more are scheduled, adding to this year’s Catskills summer music offerings.

The eight-week season begins July 17 with hard rock and blues rock from the Pat Travers Band. Then, the lineup continues with Quinn Sullivan, Masters of the Telecaster, Conehead Buddha, and more.
