“Take me back to the time when we walked down the aisle / Our whole town came and our mamas cried,” sings Taylor Swift on “Mary, (Oh, My, My),” a throwback gem from her self-titled debut album. Aside from being one of my favorite songs from that era, “Mary” also touches on a question that’s been on people’s minds lately: Who will attend Taylor Swift’s wedding?

After an intimate rehearsal dinner held last night with a few hundred people (including Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, and Lena Dunham), the wedding takes place at Madison Square Garden today, July 3. We’ve been drip-fed information, but we always knew this was going to be a royal wedding-level event. In October 2025, Swift indicated that it would be a huge affair, telling Graham Norton that she was going to invite him to the event. He joked, “If you’re inviting me, it’s very big.” Multiple reports say that over 1,000 people have been handed (watermarked) invites, as well as NDAs.

One major morsel (if true) is that Stevie Nicks is supposedly performing at the wedding, according to multiple sources as reported in Rolling Stone. Nicks previously talked about Swift and Kelce’s relationship in an interview with the magazine. “She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man,” she said in a 2024 Rolling Stone interview. She added, “I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset. He does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that. I just want all of that for her.” Tim McGraw and Ed Sheeran are also rumored to perform.

Online, many are using the wedding as an occasion to rehash and judge the state of several of Swift’s high-profile friendships with people like Blake Lively and Karlie Kloss. Reddit threads and gossip pages are ablaze with speculation about who will get the invite, but Swift seems to be opting for a more-the-merrier approach. (Lively, however, was spotted this week enjoying a family vacation in upstate New York—would she drop back into the city for her once BFF?)

“I’m so excited about it. I know it’s gonna be fun to plan. Because I think the only stressful weddings are ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble,” Swift said on Graham Norton’s show. “And you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them, to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that.”

“Anyone I’ve ever talked to,” will be invited, she joked. We’ll have to stay tuned to find out who makes the list.
