Adorably enough, Ronaldo’s first encounter with his now-wife came out of the blue, when he stopped into a Gucci store in Madrid. Rodríguez—an Argentine-Spanish model and social-media influencer—was working as a sales assistant there at the time…and it was love at first sight.

Ronaldo was already a father to three children—son Cristiano Jr. and twins Eva Maria and Mateo—when, in late fall of 2017, Rodríguez gave birth to their first child together, a girl named Alana Martina. In a 2024 episode of Rodríguez’s Netflix docuseries Soy Georgina, Ronaldo can be seen asking Alana what she wants to be when she grows up and cracking up at her deeply relatable response: “Nothing, nothing. I’ll just stay at home.” Their second child together, Bella Esmeralda, was born in 2022.

The newlyweds showed off their matching wedding bands on Instagram after a highly intimate ceremony in the living room of their home in Cascais, Portugal. (Afterward, the couple and their five children dutifully attended Mass.) “When I was a little girl,” Georgina told Vogue’s Gaby Wood, “I dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I’m saying: no. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home. Because castles, houses, islands, horses, cars: We have all of that within reach every day. But something intimate—that’s more unusual for us.” Many felicidades and parabéns to the happy couple!
