MVP Arena Brings “The Rock Orchestra: Arena of Fire” to Albany this November

The Rock Orchestra, a rotating collective of world-class musicians and vocalists, will bring their latest show, “Arena of Fire” to Albany’s MVP Arena on Thursday, November 12.

The musicians of The Rock Orchestra have performed more than 600 shows across multiple continents to over a million fans worldwide, bringing huge rock anthems that are reimagined for a full orchestra and choir.

Rather than simply putting rock songs in front of an orchestra, Arena of Fire builds an entire visual world around them, with haunting strings, thunderous arrangements, fire and spectacle all working together on the arena stage.

The ‘rock’ side of things adds in fire, pyrotechnics, dramatic lighting, large-scale visuals and performers, including The Fuel Girls, alongside the orchestra’s two-hour cinematic production that brings classical precision alongside the pure energy of rock and metal.

Nathan Reed, Creative Director and Producer, says of the upcoming performance: “Arena of Fire is the most explosive version of The Rock Orchestra we’ve ever created. We’ve taken the scale and emotion of our orchestral arrangements and built a huge arena experience around them, with fire, pyrotechnics, incredible performers including The Fuel Girls, and a full choir driving the power of the music.”

For a primer, check out their debut album Classics Vol.1, which reached #1 on the Official UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart in November 2025.
