A Good Idea for a Lamp for Ferrari Fanatics

This vintage desk lamp is by VEB Zweckleuchtenbau, a state-owned East German lamp manufacturer of the 1970s. It’s a pretty basic Communist-era design, with no mistaking where the switch is. You can adjust the lamp’s tilt by moving the stalk in the little channel in the base.Which makes me think: If you took a vintage Ferrari shift gate, and made a lamp like this with a more Ferrari-esque shade, I bet you could sell it for an absurd amount of money.
