NYC Alt-Rock King Falcon Return with “Nothing Feels Amazing”

Brooklyn alternative rock trio, King Falcon, has released their latest single, “Nothing Feels Amazing,” along with a music video filmed around Dumbo and Jane’s Carousel.

The song follows recent singles “Wait” and “Holding Out,” continuing the New York band’s run of guitar-forward tracks. While the title sounds like a downer, “Nothing Feels Amazing” is less about giving up and more about pushing through a rough stretch when everything feels stuck.

Built around loud guitars and a chorus made for live shows, the track balances frustration with a sense of momentum. The band leans into a more emotional side here without losing the energy that’s become a staple of their sound.

The video places frontman Michael Rubin in some of Brooklyn’s most recognizable locations, including Jane’s Carousel, as the world moves around him. The visuals play off the song’s themes, showing moments that should feel exciting or enjoyable while still feeling disconnected.

Formed in Brooklyn in 2020, King Falcon consists of Rubin, bassist Joe Conserva, and drummer Dipayan “Dip” Chakraborty. Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 2023, the band has steadily built a following through constant touring and a string of singles that blend modern alternative rock with classic guitar influences.

Fans of bands like The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, and Foo Fighters will find plenty to like in King Falcon’s sound, which mixes big hooks with a distinctly New York attitude.

The release arrives as the band continues a run of tour dates across the United States and Canada, including a stop at Funk ‘n Waffles in Syracuse on June 24.
