Take me out to the ball game. . . and that’s precisely what Dua Lipa and Callum Turner did last night.
Stepping out for a spirited and sporty New York City date night, the happy couple were spotted cheering on the New York Yankees, watching as the baseball team faced off against the Tampa Bay Rays on their home turf at Yankee Stadium. (Spoiler alert: Sadly for New Yorkers, the Rays won 4-3.)
Given Lipa is a street style star in her own right, she naturally turned her sporty game-day outfit into a full-on fashion serve. (What? Did you expect her to wear a jersey?). The singer’s patent croc-embossed coat is straight from Chanel’s pre-fall 2026 runway, which was shown here in the Big Apple—a fitting choice for the location. Turner, meanwhile, went more casual and cozy in his cream ribbed zip-up sweater and jeans.
Lipa and Turner—who got married this summer, first in a quaint London ceremony, then a larger celebratory affair in Italy—have been quietly enjoying their lives as newlyweds, so last night’s outing has been only one of their more high-profile outings in a minute, though Lipa did just attend the Chanel spring 2027 show in Paris just a few days ago, alongside stars like Pedro Pascal and Alexa Demie. Still, it’s quite the flex to jet right from the City of Light to New York, only to land at a buzzy Yankees game.
Our question is. . . Do we think Lipa and Turner are the type of couple to indulge in a cheeky mid-game hot dog or pretzel? A pint of beer, perhaps? Or do you think they are the type to refrain—painfully aware of how cameras are on them at all times? According to one lucky attendee who was sat right next to them, they partook in the fun. “It was her first game ever, and first hot dog ever,” he said. Given that all of the celebrities were out at the Knicks games this summer, or the U.S. Open in September, maybe baseball games are the new hotspot for star sightings. Keep your eyes peeled.
