Why we love it: Pool; outdoor terrace; proximity to beach, bars, and restaurants
This villa is located in southern Rhodes, within the pretty and less touristy village of Lachania, known for its tiered rows of quaint houses—many painted blue and white. With its powder-white walls, it retains some traditional Cycladic features, but with fresh, bright, and contemporary interiors. You’ll find unpretentious but elegant wooden furniture, gentle cream-colored upholstery, and rattan finishings throughout, for a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. The outdoor terrace is especially well-suited for getting together for communal play or relaxation, with a shaded dining set, L-shaped in-built sofa, cushioned sun beds, and wicker recliners all looking onto the shimmering pool. You’ll only be around a five-minute drive from the beach, not only a spot for bathing and tanning, but also for diving, surfing, and kite-flying. Nearer still are the local seafood tavernas that you can reach on foot.
