The menswear shows in Paris flowed languidly into couture, and temperatures have stayed sweltering. But sticky weather won’t stop Jennifer Lopez from styling out her signatures.

The pop star and actor first stepped out for a visit to the Paris Dior store wearing a Stephane Rolland powder pink bubble coat with billowing sleeves and one button fastened at the neck, and underneath, a white tank top and cargo khaki draped skirt, paired with a gathered pink Chloé bag with gold hardware.

She accessorized further with oversized, shield-like Tom Ford sunglasses and large gold earrings. On her feet, a pair of ultra-point Perspex wedges. (Her mani-pedi was also a matching baby pink, as painted by her go-to Tom Bachik.) Justine Marjan styled her hair just as voluminously in a half up half down style, gathered in a French twist at the back and with soft face framing pieces left free. Makeup artist Rokael Lizama kept the rest of her glam soft and romantic, creating a glowy base and glossy, pink-taupe lip.

Another pair of see-through heels made an appearance later that night—this time, a nude stiletto with a plexi front strap, paired with a strapless white dress that featured feathers across the bust, a boxy clutch, with Orlov jewelry. She changed up her glam, too, adding a brick-red lip.

The Jennifer Lopez school of style powers on, heatwave or not. A naked shoe has become a J Lo go-to, with Alaïa and Gianvito Rossi PVC styles in her collection. It makes sense, in the grand scheme of her ultra-maximalist, texture and color-led wardrobe, where a barely-there shoe lets the rest of the outfit sing. You can also count Rihanna as a fan of the sheer stiletto, season-to-season, too. And it was at the recent Paris menswear shows that Anthony Vaccarello proposed a transparent lace-up dress shoe for Saint Laurent to a spectrum of reactions.
