The Iconic Band Goo Goo Dolls is celebrating 40 years with an exhibit at the Buffalo History Museum. The Goo Goo Dolls exhibit opens to the public on September 17th and will celebrate the band’s rise from local fame to international icons. The exhibition explores the band’s history through photography, memorabilia, media, and interactive experiences.
The exhibit will feature iconic memorabilia, including three custom-made playable guitars. These guitars, tuned to the Goo Goo Dolls’ specifications, will be fully playable for the public. In addition, the exhibit contains an original scrapbook showing the band’s beginnings in Buffalo before their international fame. Alongside the scrapbook, the exhibition includes 50+ historic photos from across their 40-year history of performances across the world.

After starting in local venues in Buffalo, they slowly built a fanbase that, over time, brought them global acclaim. After 40 years in music, they have earned 4 Grammy Nominations, 15 number-one hits, and 15 million records sold worldwide.
