Between New York Fashion Week and the international film festivals happening all over—Venice! Toronto!—there were no shortage of stellar red carpet looks. The best dressed stars of the week? It was those who leaned into splashy event dressing—choosing striking designs that perfected the use of texture and silhouette.
In New York, the front rows and party circuit were filled with such stylish moments. At the Kering “Caring for Women” event, modern supermodel Alex Consani leaned into a cobalt-blue feathered Gucci cape gown, while Dakota Johnson went sleek in her sweeping black Valentino gown with cutouts. At the Calvin Klein show, Rosalia also wore a square-neck top with a full ballroom skirt—the perfect mix of formal-yet-cool.
In Venice, Penélope Cruz hit the film festival step and repeat in a red-hot Chanel number with an embellished drop-waistline. Pamela Anderson also delivered many knockout moments in the Italian city—her lavender chiffon Carolina Herrera two-piece being a glamorous standout.
As for the sweetest look of the last seven days? That would go to Anne Hathaway and her high-fashion maternity turn. The actor hit the Bvlgari event in New York wearing a strapless McQueen gown that accentuated her baby bump. Talk about a glowing mom-to-be.
