“I’m a hoodie guy,” Toheeb Jimoh proclaims. “Day-to-day, you’d catch me in a black tracksuit.”
But when I get chatting with Jimoh immediately after the Dior spring 2027 show, the actor is far from his usual uniform, dressed in an austere navy jacket befitting a Napoleonic ship captain and wide-legged black trousers. Still, he was happy to step out of his comfort zone. “I walked into that room, and the piece just jumped out at me,” Jimoh says of the shearling-lined jacket. “The whole look was just really out there, and it felt great.”
The actor has been plenty busy, between wrapping the BBC show Open Water and promoting forthcoming films Clarissa and Prima Facie. (We’re still waiting to see if Kwabena will crop up in the final season of Industry). But Jimoh found a bit of time to head to Paris for his second-ever Dior show—his first since Jonathan Anderson took the reins back in April 2025.
“It was really extraordinary. I mean, the scale of it was just amazing. Dior has always put on a really great show,” he says, before adding, “I mean, I say that…the only two shows I’ve been to were this show in Paris and the Cairo show that they had in 2022.” Two shows were more than enough for him to declare: “Both of them were just a feast for the eyes.”
The morning of the Paris runway was business as usual for Jimoh, who jokes that “it doesn’t feel like I have a battle plan for fashion shows.” A morning workout, chill playlist, and a bit of reading (currently: the short story collection God’s Children Are Little Broken Things by Arinze Ifeakandu) preceded the show. As for the rest of his day? “There’s a cafe that I love going to called Ola’s Café in the 18th,” he says. “They’ve got amazing pancakes.”

Chris Black 3/10Dior was the first house to ever dress me. I remember because I played Pop Smoke’s Dior like, twenty times in a row to celebrate. Then I wore Dior when I was nominated for my first Emmy. Being at this show with Jonathan feels very full circle.
