Earn more miles with shopping portal promos

Airline shopping portals are a great way to maximize your rewards on everyday purchases — especially when they run bonus points promotions. Two of our favorites have valuable bonuses available right now:

United MileagePlus Shopping: You can earn 500 bonus miles when spending $150 or more in total across all merchants by Oct. 5. That’s on top of what you would normally earn through the portal and with the credit card you use to pay.
Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping: Earn 2,000 bonus points after you spend $200 or more by Oct. 12, for an incredible return of 10 points per dollar.

Save on Flying Blue redemptions

A new month means a new crop of Promo Rewards deals from Air France-KLM Flying Blue. This time, the program is offering 25% off award rates in economy, premium economy and business class between dozens of cities around the world.

There are deals on flights to Europe starting from 18,750 miles each way economy, as well as some cheap fares to Asia, like economy seats from Atlanta to Beijing from just 30,000 miles one-way. Book by Oct. 31, 2026, for travel through March 31, 2027.

Hotel loyalty programs regularly offer discounted award stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some October deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Earn up to 36k Hyatt points this fall

World of Hyatt is awarding 3,000 bonus points for every three nights you stay at any hotel participating in the program. There’s a cap of 36,000 bonus points total, worth nearly $600 by our October 2026 estimates.

10k points for Hilton cardholders

If you have a Hilton Honors Amex card, or are considering getting one, this deal is for you.

Cardholders can earn a nice chunk of 10,000 bonus Hilton points — all you have to do is stay one time. Register by Nov. 9, 2026, then book a stay of three-plus nights with your card through Hilton’s site or mobile app and complete your stay by Jan. 3, 2027.

Don’t forget to stack this with Hilton’s More Points to Play promo to earn even more points.

Triple your Accor earnings in the Middle East

With this ALL Accor deal, you can triple your earnings on stays of two or more nights at participating hotels in Middle East destinations, including Egypt and Turkiye. Plus, you’ll be automatically entered to win 100,000 bonus points and more.

Activate the offer, then book by Oct. 25, 2026, and stay by Jan. 31, 2027.

Credit card promotions (October 2026)

Card issuers offer deals and discounts on a wide range of products, from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Note that these are targeted, so they may or may not be available on your account. You must activate these offers on your card and use the enrolled card to make the purchase in order to earn bonus rewards.

Targeted Amex Offer at JetBlue

If you fly JetBlue often or are booking a trip soon, check your Amex Offers. We saw this one on the American Express Platinum Card®.

Get $40 back as a statement credit when you spend at least $200 on JetBlue purchases by Dec. 14. Flights must originate in the U.S. to qualify.

Targeted Amex Offer at AmaWaterways

Ready to sail away on your next trip? This Amex Offer, which we spotted on the American Express® Gold Card, could be extremely lucrative.

You can earn 10 additional Membership Rewards points per dollar spent at AmaWaterways online by Nov. 18, including both cruise reservations and onboard spend. This deal can score you up to 50,000 bonus points — that’s worth $1,000 by our October 2026 valuations.

Targeted Chase Offer at Uniworld River Cruises

Here’s another cruise deal, this time for Chase cardholders at a river cruise line we love. We found it on the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees).

Earn 15% cash back, up to $50 maximum, on a single purchase with Uniworld River Cruises by Oct. 31.

Targeted Chase Offer at Turo

This Chase Offer could come in handy on virtually any trip where you need a vehicle. If targeted, you could get $30 cash back after spending $150 or more at Turo by Oct. 31, for a savings of up to 20%.

Ongoing travel deals

In addition to these new offers, many others from previous weeks are still available:

New players can earn 7,500 bonus Bonvoy points by joining BetMGM, placing a bet of at least $5, and linking their Marriott Bonvoy account. Those points are worth around $56 by TPG’s September 2026 valuations, so you’ll come out ahead even if you don’t win your $5 bet.

United MileagePlus is awarding extra miles on car rentals booked through the program’s portal: 2,000 bonus miles on rentals of three to five days, or 2,750 bonus miles on rentals of six-plus days. Book and complete your rental by Oct. 31 (blackout dates apply).
Turkish Airlines’ Miles&Smiles program partners with Wyndham Rewards to let members earn miles on hotel stays, and right now, you can triple your miles. Book by Nov. 4, stay by Dec. 31, and make sure your Wyndham Rewards account preferences are set to Miles&Smiles miles instead of Wyndham points.
Double your earnings at Thompson properties this fall when you register, book through the World of Hyatt app and stay by Nov. 10. Even better, you can take advantage of this promotion multiple times up to a cap of 30,000 bonus points.
Earn up to 4,500 bonus Bonvoy points per qualifying stay: 1,500 bonus points when you stay two or more nights, plus an additional 3,000 bonus points at resort properties. Register by Nov. 13 for stays from Sept. 22 through Nov. 22.
